As the model of international academic and cultural exchanges among the domestic institutions of higher learning, the International Business College (IBC) of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (the University) actively responds to the national “the Belt and Road” strategy, by introducing leading world faculty and management methods into the institutions of higher education with Chinese characteristics. At present, IBC has been in sound cooperation with a number of outstanding foreign universities in diversified ways. The cooperation methods include Sino-foreign cooperative programs, exchange programs, studying abroad and training programs, and international student programs. Since 2002, when IBC was founded, it has been consecutively cooperating in education with dozens of universities in Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, the United States and other countries.
