The program in Finance jointly offered by Dongbei University of Finance & Economics (DUFE) and University of Ulster (UU), UK was launched in 2003. The program was reviewed by the Ministry of Education, PRC in 2009 and passed the review in 2011, being granted the approval certificate. The program aims to produce graduates with academic knowledge of their subject area, intercultural communication skills and international visions so as to meet the increasing demand of Chinese job market for graduates with international education background. By the end of 2016, there were 86 students graduated from the program.
Curriculum For Undergraduate Program
Curriculum For Double-Degree Path
The program is a four years undergraduate program, and provides students with single degree path and double-degree path. Students who choose double-degree path will study the first two years at DUFE, and then transfer to UU for the latter two years.
After obtaining required credits from both universities, students will be awarded an undergraduate diploma in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from DUFE, and a Bachelor’s degree (Honor) in Finance and Investment Management from the UU.
The first two years curriculum for single degree path and double-degree are the same.
