The program was reviewed by the Ministry of Education of P.R.C in 2009 and granted the Certificate of Approval in 2011.

The program aims to produce graduates with academic knowledge of their subject area, intercultural communication skills and international vision so as to meet the increasing demand of the Chinese job market for graduates with international education background. By the end of 2016, there were 83 students who graduated from the program.
