On the evening of March 23, 2021, Ms. Zibo Jin, Manager of Global Engagement, Ulster University, UK, instructed the students 2019 intake to apply for the admission of Ulster University.
Zibo Jin introduced the campus planning change of Ulster University at the beginning. She informed the students that Jordanstown campus has been moved to Belfast, where the new teaching building will be put into use from September this year. She showed the students the designed picture of the new campus and teaching building, and she introduced the function of the new teaching building and the new dormitory.
She also assist the students with Ulster admission and visa application. The government will implement post study work visa in the UK, which means international students can stay in the UK for two years after graduation for job hunting.
Finally, Zibo Jin introduced the current situation regarding to fighting covid-19 and quarantine requirement for inbound passengers to UK. At present, more than a half of adults in Belfast have been vaccinated. The UK government plans to vaccinate all people under the age of 50 by May or June,2021. Chinese students are permitted to be quarantined in the campus instead of the hotel for 14 days, since China is a low-risk country. Ulster University also has quarantine dormitory for students. And the staff in Ulster will be responsible for the students’ daily necessities.
